A Little Piece of Portugal, Beautifully Framed: Aleaure × Silveira Designs

A Little Piece of Portugal, Beautifully Framed: Aleaure × Silveira Designs

There’s something special about finding a piece for your home that feels like more than decoration. It tells a story. It brings back a memory. It reminds you of where you come from—or perhaps where you’d rather be.

That’s exactly what we love about our newest collaboration with Silveira Designs, featuring a collection of framed art that brings Portuguese culture into the home in a fresh, sophisticated way.

Meet the Artist Behind Silveira Designs

We are so happy to be collaborating with Angela Silveira Laines, founder of Silveira Designs.

Angela’s work immediately felt at home with Aleaure. She shares our deep pride in Portuguese heritage, but what makes her designs particularly special is the way she interprets that heritage. Her work is elegant and contemporary while still carrying those unmistakable little touches that make you think of Portugal.

And for Angela, the inspiration behind Silveira Designs is deeply personal:

“Being Portuguese-American I always looked for Portuguese inspired items that I could decorate my home with, but couldn’t find anything specific to my experience, so I decided to make my own. With these I hope I can extend the Portuguese touch to other people’s homes as well!”

— Angela Silveira Laines, Founder of Silveira Designs

It’s a sentiment that resonates deeply with us at Aleaure. So much of what we create is rooted in that same desire: to celebrate our heritage in ways that reflect what it means to be Portuguese and Portuguese-American today.

From Bom Dia to Boa Noite

The first pieces in the Aleaure × Silveira Designs collection celebrate some of life’s simplest—and most Portuguese—pleasures.

BOM DIA captures the beginning of the day with a steaming cup of coffee and a familiar Portuguese coffee pot. It’s cheerful, warm and practically begs to be hung somewhere you can see it while making your first café of the morning.

Then there’s BOA NOITE, featuring a bottle of wine and a glass against rich cobalt blue. It’s the evening counterpart: a little moodier, a little more relaxed and made for those nights that involve good wine, good conversation and nowhere else you need to be.

And Chá · Café · Laranjada brings together three familiar favorites in a playful, minimalist design that feels right at home in a kitchen, breakfast nook or dining area.

Together or on their own, the designs offer a subtle way to bring Portuguese personality into your space without overwhelming it.

Portuguese-Inspired Art for the Modern Home

One of our favorite things about this collection is its versatility.

These aren’t pieces that require an entirely Portuguese-themed room to make sense. The clean lines, sophisticated colors and modern compositions allow them to work beautifully in contemporary, traditional, Mediterranean, European-inspired and eclectic interiors.

Hang BOM DIA in the kitchen. Put BOA NOITE above the bar cart. Create a gallery wall with several designs. Add Chá · Café · Laranjada to the little corner where you sit with your morning coffee.

They’re little reminders of Portugal that can become part of everyday life.

Framed, Finished and Ready for Your Wall

We also wanted these pieces to be as easy to enjoy as they are beautiful. Each framed poster is:

  • Available in 10 frame colors, so you can choose the look that works best with your décor
  • Professionally printed on premium fine art paper in your choice of matte or satin finish
  • Ready to hang, with pre-installed hardware and wall-protecting rubber bumpers
  • Protected with shatter-proof plexiglass for clear, lightweight durability
  • Presented in a pinewood frame manufactured in Italy
  • Printed and assembled in the USA or Canada and available for shipping within the United States

That means your artwork arrives finished and ready to become part of your home.

A Gift With a Little More Meaning

These framed posters also make wonderful gifts—especially when you want to give something that feels personal without being overly sentimental.

They’re perfect for a housewarming, wedding, birthday, anniversary, hostess gift or holiday present, and particularly meaningful for Portuguese and Portuguese-American friends and family.

For someone who grew up with Portuguese coffee on the table, family dinners that lasted for hours or a bottle of wine appearing whenever company came over, these designs can evoke an entire collection of memories with just a few simple images.

And sometimes, those are the very best gifts.

Celebrating Portuguese Creativity

Aleaure has always been about finding new ways to celebrate Portuguese culture and design—honoring where we come from while creating things that feel relevant to how we live today.

That’s why collaborations like this one mean so much to us.

As Angela Costa Simões, founder of Aleaure, explains:

“I love finding other Portuguese creatives who share the same pride in our heritage but express it in their own unique way. Angela’s work is sophisticated, elegant and unmistakably inspired by Portugal, and I knew immediately that her designs would be a beautiful fit for Aleaure. I’m so proud to be able to collaborate with her and introduce her work to the Aleaure community.”

— Angela Costa Simões, Founder of Aleaure

There’s something especially meaningful about bringing together two Portuguese-American women, two creative businesses and a shared love for a heritage that continues to inspire what we create.

Aleaure × Silveira Designs is a celebration of Portuguese creativity, heritage and home—and we couldn’t be happier to share it with you.

Because sometimes, all it takes is one beautiful piece on the wall to make home feel a little more like Portugal.
